AOPA members flying in October could get a break on some handling fees. Signature Flight Support announced Sept. 20 that is waiving handling fees for AOPA members flying piston aircraft.
“Signature is dedicated to serving all aircraft and aviators, regardless of the size of the aircraft or the type of aviation fuel they use,” Signature Flight Support Chief Commercial Officer David Best said in the announcement. “We encourage AOPA members to give us a try on their next trip. Our October promotion makes it very easy for everyone to experience Signature’s world-class service.
“General aviation is the foundation of America’s aviation industry and we are excited to make this offering to the members of AOPA, the world’s largest general aviation membership organization.”
According to Signature, AOPA members with piston aircraft will need to present their membership card or AOPA credit card to have the handling fees waived for the visit. Signature also pointed out that “landing fees or other airport or government fees” are not included in the offer.
