Sporty’s has created kits designed to help your GoPro Hero 3 or the video function of your iPhone produce better-quality footage. The GoPro kit features a custom audio cable that allows you to plug your headset into the camera so that you can record audio, as well as a lens filter that Sporty’s claims virtually eliminates prop distortion when shooting out the front of the airplane. It is available in two versions: cockpit mount or external mount for experimental aircraft. The iPhone kit includes the audio cable as well as a 170-degree wide-angle lens that includes a special filter to reduce propeller distortion.
