“My checkride was probably the most nerve- wracking and rewarding experience throughout the whole training process.
I did most of my training at Inflight Pilot Training in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, but finished up in Missouri when I returned there for college. My flight instructor in Missouri, Thomas Goad, worked with me for a few weeks in preparation for the checkride. He gave me the confidence I needed to pass my checkride with flying colors. The whole checkride process lasted about three hours and was not nearly as scary as I and many others had thought. To all the flight students out there, stay with it and study hard. There is nothing more rewarding than flying yourself away from the checkride knowing you are now a licensed pilot.”
