Not what it appears

biplane over colorado

This sharp-looking biplane, flying in extreme southwestern Colorado near the Four Corners area, looks like something straight out of the 1930s. The handcrafted, wood-and-fabric airplane is much newer, however. This updated version, built by Waco Classic Aircraft in Battle Creek, Michigan, is equipped with a new MT wood propeller, a more powerful Jacobs engine, LED lights, a more robust electrical system, and a full IFR glass cockpit.
