The FAA’s AeroNav Products has issued a safety alert to warn pilots about two charts being released May 2 for Kansas City International Airport that are incorrect and should not be used.
The May 2 Terminal Procedures Publication North Central Volume 3 (NC-3) and the digital-Terminal Procedures Publication DVD Volume 1305 contain two incorrect charts: Kansas City Intl (MCI), ILS RWY 19R (CAT II & III), Amdt 10B; and Kansas City Intl (MCI) ILS RWY 01R (CAT II & III), Amdt 4.
The agency notes that no patch will be made available for the d-TPP DVD version of the chart. The paper version of the chart is available can be downloaded here. For those accessing the chart via computer, the corrected files can be downloaded from the AeroNav website and copied into the “published PDFs” folder of the d-TPP copy. The program will then upload the chart normally. For questions or assistance, call 800/626-3677 or e-mail the FAA.
