AOPA members can get a prime view of the action during the afternoon airshows at EAA AirVenture from the association’s new location on the flight line.
AOPA has moved to a bigger, better location at EAA AirVenture, July 28 through Aug. 3. Find the association’s main tent and a new activity tent—along with an outdoor seating area—across from the Brown Arch at the corner of Wittman Road and Waukau Avenue. While you’re there, check out special offers, pick up your seventy-fifth anniversary commemorative pin, and take care of your membership needs.
In addition to a new schedule of seminars and other events in the activity tent, the main tent will host the products and services you have come to expect at the airshow. Learn about AOPA's full line of products and services and how they can make your flying more affordable, check the weather, and shop for the latest AOPA Pilot Gear. Don’t forget to check out AOPA’s Debonair Sweepstakes airplane just before the sweepstakes closes July 31—and if you haven’t already, renew your membership at the special show rate. Join or renew by the end of the month to ensure your chance to win.
AOPA President Mark Baker will host a Pilot Town Hall in the activity tent July 29 at 11 a.m. Attendees may also catch up with Baker and the AOPA leadership team at 8 a.m. July 31 over free coffee and donuts.
The association is celebrating its seventy-fifth anniversary in 2014, so pick up your commemorative pin at the main tent to share in the celebration. You’ll also be able to get your photo on the cover of AOPA Pilot magazine, or bring the kids to play with Disney's "Planes: Fire and Rescue" interactive display. Or, just hang out in the new outdoor courtyard area to relax, enjoy conversation, and build new friendships.
