Big airplanes are drawing big crowds at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, one of the aviation world’s biggest events. A towering B-29 Superfortress and B-52 Stratofortress standing side by side are among the larger-than-life sights. The new Airbus A350 XWB, constructed mainly of carbon-fiber material, updates the theme, with an overall wing area that Airbus boasts “covers more space than two tennis courts.” Get a taste of these and other big deals at AirVenture in a slideshow compiled by AOPA staff.
