20 students awarded Duncan Aviation scholarships

Duncan Aviation, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul company, has announced annual scholarship awards to 20 students through the Karen K. Duncan Scholarship program.

Each scholarship recipient will be eligible for up to $4,000 for college, awarded at $1,000 per semester for up to two years, through Duncan Aviation’s program to invest in its communities by advancing the futures of dependents of the company’s full-time employees.

Applicants essays were reviewed by an independent committee. Students also were awarded points for "academic achievement, leadership, citizenship, career goals and extracurricular activities," Duncan Aviation said in a news release.

Duncan Aviation is an aircraft service provider with customer service facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Battle Creek, Michigan.
