IAOPA ANNOUNCES BRANDING UPDATE

FREDERICK, MD – The International Council of Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (IAOPA) is updating its logo as part of an effort to establish a unified global brand. The changes follow a Jan. 5 update to the AOPA brand as part of the association’s ongoing effort to build the pilot community. The new logo is a variation of the previous logo and includes wings, the IAOPA name, and a shield emblazoned with a globe to signify IAOPA’s international reach.
The branding update is about more than just a logo. AOPA President Mark Baker said, “We want our brand to reflect that forward-looking approach, sense of optimism, and pride in belonging to the greatest pilot community in the world.”
IAOPA will host its World Assembly July 21 to 24 in Chicago where members will discuss the update and other issues. In the meantime, members who wish to obtain more information about the updated brand or have any questions or concerns should contact IAOPA Secretary General Craig Spence.
