A snappy solo

Just as every new pilot starts as a student who one day solos for the first time, a similar rite of passage awaits aerobatic performers in training. Aerobatic trainees who learn to snap, spin, and roll in a two-seat trainer like the canopied, low-wing Mudry Cap 10 move on to fly more advanced aircraft, often in the same family—except now, there will be fewer, not more, seats on board. For some, the single-seat Mudry Cap 20 becomes that next step up the aerobatic-aircraft ladder.
