Pilots will have a chance to island-hop the Bahamas this fall on an Air Journey modern-day Bahamas Treasure Hunt that offers a way to explore and enjoy the Bahamas on a no-hassles, guided aviation adventure.
Take in the view of the islands and the famous turquoise waters of the Bahamas from the cockpit of your aircraft while searching for treasure and visiting the island oases of West End, Grand Bahama; Green Turtle Cay, Abaco; Staniel Cay, Exuma; and New Bight, Cat Island.
The journey comes with services to assist pilots, including electronic Advance Passenger Information System (eAPIS) filing inbound and outbound; flight plan filing; general declarations completed on your behalf; customs/immigration facilitation; and clues given prior to every flight.
For more information, visit the Air Journey website.
To learn more about flying in the Bahamas, pilots can consult AOPA’s Bahamas Pilot’s Guide. Updated editions of the Bahamas Pilot’s Guide and the Caribbean Pilot's Guide will be available in November.
