As you can tell from the picture, I am ecstatic to have my license! I started dreaming of flying when I was 10 and finally decided to do it at age 28. I fly out of Airlake Airport in Lakeville, Minnesota, with an awesome school called Air Trek North. I chose that school because it draws a young population and the owner, Randy, is so great to work with. Passing the test was not easy, but I have the most supportive husband and a number of pilot friends who have taken me under their wing (Ha ha!). Aviation has become an addiction, one that I never want to be cured of! Between the absolute feeling of freedom I get when I fly and being able to share that passion with others in the aviation community—it’s been the most incredible journey so far!”
