Introducing the ABS 50th anniversary G36 Bonanza

New interior, paint scheme mark a milestone

Beechcraft Corp. and the American Bonanza Society (ABS) have teamed up to develop a customized G36 Bonanza option that will be available in 2017. It’s called the ABS Sport Package. Beechcraft said the Sport Package will be a factory option that includes a custom interior and paint scheme.

The Sport Package commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the ABS. The custom paint scheme incorporates the red and black Beechcraft colors with the ABS logo on the tail. The interior has black leather seats with contrasting red stitching, and the Beechcraft “B” and ABS logos throughout the cabin.

The G36 Bonanza comes with Garmin G1000 avionics, a 300-horsepower Continental IO-550-B engine, and six seats. Its max cruise speed is 176 knots, max range is more than 860 nautical miles, and it has a 1,038-pound max payload, according to Beechcraft.
