Question of the Week
Question

I received my remote pilot certificate almost two years ago. What do I need to do to keep this certificate current?
Answer
If you're a Part 61 certificated pilot with a current flight review, you must complete the Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Recurrent course (ALC-515), available on the FAA Safety Team website, every two years. If you aren't a Part 61 certificated pilot (or you are and don't have a current flight review), you must take an FAA aeronautical knowledge test (test code UGR) once every two years. In either case, you should retain your results to prove your currency.
