FSANA’s annual event is an opportunity for flight training providers to discuss current issues, regulations, and best business practices. The event is open to flight school operators, managers, chief flight instructors, assistant chief flight instructors, as well as industry suppliers.

Several Part 121 regional airlines are slated to participate in the event. Training providers and regional airline representatives will have one-on-one opportunities to discuss collaborative possibilities.

General session topics include protecting flight schools in a litigious culture, attracting and retaining students, how to start a career academy, possible solutions to the CFI shortage, and more. National Transportation Safety Board member Earl Weener and John and Martha King of King Schools will participate in a panel discussion about aircraft incidents and accidents, and how to improve the safety culture at your organization. An update on the FAA designee program will be provided, along with potential impacts for flight schools. Additionally, FSANA representatives will discuss accreditation program updates and programs aimed at children and young adults.

The FSANA conference will be at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa. For additional information and registration, see the website.
