Embraer Phenom 300 emerging as industry leader

Embraer is building 60 Phenom 300s a year in Melbourne, Florida, and says the 10-seat twin jet is now the best-selling corporate jet in the world.

"What’s exciting about our story is the consistency of it,” said Stephen Friedrich, the Brazilian company’s chief commercial officer. "We have something that leads the industry in reliability and maintenance intervals."

The Phenom 300 first flew in 2008, and the first delivery from Embraer’s Florida facility took place in 2012.

More than 400 Phenom 300s have been delivered to date.

The aircraft with a retail price of $9.7 million is advertised as the fastest, longest-range single-pilot corporate jet in the world.

Embraer isn’t making any external changes to the Phenom 300 this year, but it is offering new interiors designed to add more space.
