Question of the Week
Question

I just bought a drone and plan to fly it for fun. I know the FAA requires that I register my drone. I've found registration services online charging from $5 to $150. Which one should I use?
Answer
The FAA strongly advises registering via the FAADroneZone. The agency recently published a warning about services offering to help with registration, usually charging much more than the cost the FAA charges. Registering through the FAA costs $5 and is the only way to ensure your drone is legally registered.
