The college offers aircraft maintenance and aircraft mechanic degrees as part of its 90 certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs.

Dan Traska, director of the school’s Center for Advanced Aviation, said he was excited about the national partnership because it would open aircraft maintenance career opportunities for students amid an industrywide technician shortage. Traska said the move spoke "volumes about the quality" of the school's program, its instructors, and community partners.

The airline said in a news release that it saw a “continued high demand” for maintenance personnel “for many years” to come. Delta works with 48 other AMT programs across the United States.
