Question of the Week
Question

Does the flight instructor refresher course I just completed count as a flight review?
Answer
Completion of a flight instructor refresher course, either online or in person, to renew your certificate can count for the ground portion required for the flight review (see 14 CFR 61.56(f)). Renewing your flight instructor certificate would count for the entire flight review (both ground and flight portions) only if you completed a practical test with an examiner to renew it (see 14 CFR 61.56(d)(2)).
