Plane Spotter
AOPA
Tilt tech
If there were a quiz to earn your plane spotter's credentials, identifying this aircraft would be a freebie question. Whether you spot a Bell Boeing V–22 Osprey taking off, hovering, or landing with its nacelles and 38-foot rotors pointed skyward, or watch it accelerating to 270 knots like a turboprop airplane (with nacelles and rotors rotated forward), there's no mistaking an Osprey. Tiltrotor technology makes the V–22 a multi-role marvel, ready to serve in a military combat or humanitarian mission. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Trevor T. McBride.)

Am I required to sign my pilot certificate in order for it to be valid? Where can I find this information?
