Denali the disruptor
Plane spotters looking ahead to 2019 and beyond will see new designs take flight, and a low-wing, high-tailed, single-engine turboprop with a five-blade composite propeller from Cessna Aircraft that seats up to 11 occupants and cruises at 285 knots is among them. Named Denali, the newcomer will be powered by a "clean-sheet" (new design) GE Catalyst engine of 1,240 shaft horsepower. Sometimes aircraft market segments grow stagnant and become ripe for disruption, said Cessna, asserting that the Denali "changes everything." (Image courtesy of Textron Aviation.)
Final Exam
Question

I am a recreational pilot and am almost ready to take the practical test for my private pilot certificate, which I heard will include only the maneuvers I didn't perform on the recreational pilot test. Is that correct?
Answer
No. Any maneuver in the Private Pilot—Airplane Airman Certification Standards is fair game for the practical test. You should be prepared to fly each maneuver to the standard listed in the ACS.
