Question of the Week
|
Question
I'm out on a cross-country flight and my pilot certificate is missing from my flight bag. What can I do to get home if I can't find it? |
Answer |
On the FAA's Airmen On-Line Services page, you can request Temporary Authority to Exercise Certificate Privileges to receive an automated email with a 60-day temporary certificate attached. This temporary certificate will allow you to get home legally. You can order a new certificate through the site as well.
This question and answer were provided by AOPA's Pilot Information Center. Got a question for our technical services staff? Contact AOPA. |
