Designed by aeronautical engineer Milan Bristela and produced in the Czech Republic, Bristela's namesake Bristell LSA is powered by a 100-horsepower Rotax 912ULS liquid-and-air-cooled engine, weighs in empty at 705 pounds, and comes with options for a parachute recovery system and autopilot.

Question

I heard another flight student mention that I should start logging my flight time on a new page in my logbook—a new page for a new year. Is that required?
Answer
No. There is no regulation that requires a new page for a new year. You can start a new page if you like or you can just continue where last year ended.

This question and answer were provided by the aviation experts in AOPA's Pilot Information Center.
