Droid EFB launches QuickWeather

In a world of aviation apps jammed with everything from navigation to document storage, one developer has taken a different approach. DroidEFB recently introduced QuickWeather, a companion app that strips down all the extraneous information and gets straight to the report.

QuickWeather’s interface is clean, the app is fast, and the information is presented in a way that makes looking at the weather so easy there’s a good chance it will become your daily go-to, even when you’re not flying.

Once you save your favorite airports the current conditions are displayed in the standard color format as soon as you launch the app. Each airport is on a short card that contains all the relevant info, making it possible to do a cursory check with no further button pushes.

If you have a few minutes, one click gets you everything you need to know for a trip around the pattern or a jaunt in the local area.

QuickWeather is free, and only available on Android.
