Question

I'd like to do some passenger-carrying charity flying, but I've heard there's a minimum hour requirement for private pilots. What is the requirement?
Answer
A private pilot must have a minimum of 500 hours of flight time to act as pilot in command on passenger-carrying charity flights. You can find the requirements in 14 CFR 91.146(b).
