Join the 'December 12 Days of Flying Challenge'
Check in to at least 12 airports in December and be entered to win a prize from Sporty’s
If you’re using general aviation as a means of transportation this holiday season, make sure to use the AOPA app’s Pilot Passport feature to be entered to win a Flight Gear iPad Bag from Sporty’s.
Whether you’re flying to grandma’s house or to a warm, beachy destination this December, make sure to check in using the Pilot Passport feature of the AOPA app. Three participants, each with at least 12 check-ins at unique locations, will be randomly selected as the December challenge prize winners.
The Flight Gear iPad Bag from Sporty’s is an excellent accessory for any new or veteran pilot. The padded iPad flight bag, which retails for $79.95, was specifically designed for pilots who consider an iPad an essential part of every flight. The bag is also outfitted with a headset hanger and pockets for a transceiver, fuel tester, and charts, along with a key and a water bottle holder.
The December Pilot Passport challenge is open to pilots residing in the United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia 18 years of age or older who possess a current FAA-issued airman certificate. Individuals who have won a prize in two or more 2021 Pilot Passport monthly challenges are not eligible to win this challenge. In the event there are not three participants with a minimum of 12 check-ins at unique airports, the three participants with the highest number of check-ins will be selected as the winners. In the case of a tie there will be a random drawing.
