The people you meet
As much as roughly 10,000 aircraft in one place may dazzle us, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is as much or more about the people who flew them there.
More than 600,000 people are expected to walk through the gates by the time the show concludes, many of them old friends meeting up for the first time in a year. AOPA turned Senior Photographer David Tulis loose on the grounds with his cameras to capture the moments, with an eye out for aviation celebrities and ordinary folks just having some fun in the summer sun.
