The Antique Airplane Association was established in 1953 by Robert L. Taylor. The fly-in is held on the AAA grounds in Blakesburg, Iowa. Members of AAA and invited guests land on the 2,350-foot-long grass strip and enjoy old-fashioned fun and hospitality including a nightly Pilot’s Pub and food and goodies from the North Hy-Vee store. - The Golden Age Air Museum in Bethel, Pennsylvania, is a great place to explore the past and see incredible old aircraft actually flying, like a 1916 Sopwith Pup, 1918 Curtiss JN4D, and a 1918 Fokker Dr.1 Triplane. - Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in New York’s Hudson River Valley keeps old aircraft flying June 17 through October 15. On display are 60 aircraft from the Pioneer, World War I, and Golden Age of aviation. - Don’t miss the Vintage Village at EAA AirVenture July 24 through 30 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In 2022, 1,375 vintage aircraft were on display in the village.
