Scholarships with March and April deadlines await students who want to explore the aviation sector.
Two scholarships are available from general aviation aircraft manufacturer Piper Aircraft for one high school senior and one college student.
Applicants must submit an application packet by March 31, including a 300- to 600-word essay answering the question, “Aside from your college degree, what else do you hope to gain from your college experience?”
The Bill Cluck Memorial Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship for a college or university junior or senior who is enrolled in an engineering degree program in the state of Florida.
Applicants must have a record of volunteerism in the community and participation in extracurricular school activities. An application package including transcripts, a recommendation letter, and a short essay must be submitted by April 28.
The application period for a series of scholarships from Aero Club Pennsylvania is now open until April 9. Young people interested in flight training, aviation maintenance, and other aviation-related categories should apply for awards ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
Applicants should be from the Philadelphia or Greater Delaware Valley region and must be available for an interview with the Scholarship Review Board on May 14.

The AEA Education Foundation Scholarship Program has awarded more than $1.5 million to students since its inception.
Applications for the 2023-24 school year are now open for high school and college students, AEA employees, and dependents of AEA members—with dozens of scholarships available, each worth $1,000 to $2,500. Additional scholarships are available to employees of AEA member companies.
Scholarship applications require question responses and essay answers, and submissions are due April 1.
