The Bristell 915iS Turbo is a single-engine light sport aircraft with a Garmin glass panel and a turbocharged Rotax 915 engine with performance gains that transform the low-wing, two-seat Bristell, into a capable cross-country platform, in Marco Island, Florida, February 4, 2020. The 915iS version was introduced to the U.S. market in 2020 with a 141-horsepower fuel-injected Rotax 915iS turbo. In other words, it’s an LSA with some muscle. Carrying two adults and 20 gallons of fuel, it can climb at better than 1,200 feet per minute. An optional four-blade DUC propeller adds a bit of warbird style as well as enhanced performance.

Built in the Czech Republic by BRM Aero, the Bristell 915 has a modern, ergonomic interior and some interesting design features, such as wing lockers that boost the amount of baggage space a typical LSA has. Although the Bristell itself is small in stature, the cockpit is roomy at 51 inches wide, and the airplane has a huge canopy that folds forward like that of a Diamond.
