New model from Flight Design
German light sport aircraft manufacturer Flight Design has partnered with a South Korean company to design and begin flight testing a new Rotax-powered model. Unveiled at AERO Friedrichshafen in Germany, the KLA-100 is a two-place, low-wing design. Its wing features a drooped leading edge and upward-turned tip, designed to inhibit loss-of-control stall/spin accidents. READ MORE ›
Redbird Migration registration opens
Redbird Migration 2017, a conference for flight training professionals, will be held Oct. 16 through 18 at the EAA Aviation Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event includes presentations from industry leaders, small group breakout sessions focused on solutions for flight training providers, and networking opportunities. See the website to register.
