LSA changes on the horizon

FAA relaunches ADS-B rebate

FAA acts to break practical test logjams
The FAA issued new guidance Oct. 2 that indicates designated pilot examiners are no longer limited to administering practical tests within designated geographic areas. Additionally, initial flight instructor applicants can schedule a test appointment directly with the authorized examiner who will administer the test, rather than having to work through local FAA offices to set up an appointment. President signs multi-year FAA reauthorization bill
