New rule ends private flights to Cuba |
Planning to fly a general aviation airplane to Cuba? You're too late. As of June 5, a final rule from the Department of Commerce implemented additional restrictions on travel and commerce with Cuba. The rule grandfathers in persons with travel arrangements already made. Although commercial flights are permitted, travel to Cuba by private aircraft, vessel, or spacecraft is not permitted.
