Supply chain woes continue, but demand is still there
Aviation manufacturers and maintenance companies around the globe are still feeling the effects of a volatile supply chain brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Demand in private aviation is as strong as ever, and many companies are finding creative ways to keep customers in the air. Bahamas delays Click2Clear customs rollout
The Bahamas announced an indefinite postponement of its Click2Clear customs entry and departure program for private pilots and passengers. AOPA President Mark Baker had requested a delay in implementation of the program, citing technical issues and the need for more time to address those issues and also to help pilots understand the online process. The AOPA Air Safety Institute has updated its Focused Flight Review, which delivers tailored flight reviews and a meaningful, fun experience for pilots and their CFIs. The updated Focused Flight Review program offers pilots a dynamic three-step approach to completing a flight review in an organized yet engaging and flexible manner. Some profiles have been sunset and their activities consolidated into other profiles. Activities have been streamlined and reformatted into cross-country scenarios.
