Text anxiety is a real thing. It’s especially prevalent in flight students who are preparing for their first knowledge test (written), or practical test, flight review, or proficiency checks. Believe me, we’ve been there. We get it. But you don’t have to get all nervous and queasy about the testing process. Sure, these tests matter. You want to pass. To address this issue, we’ll bring together 3 AOPA Foundation Ambassadors who between them have taken a metric ton of written and practical tests. Heck, the great and powerful Pat Brown is a DPE. He knows everything on this topic. So, let’s do it. Let’s address test anxiety and maybe find a way to put that self-induced stress behind you. AOPA has represented the freedom to fly for all pilots since 1939. To learn more about becoming a member visit
