AOPA President Phil Boyer publicly recognized Rolf Schultze as the new AOPA Airport Support Network volunteer for Gillespie Field (SEE) during a Pilot Town Meeting in San Diego on February 22. Schultze joins some 90 ASN volunteers serving California airports.
The AOPA Airport Support Network was launched in 1997 to develop a network of volunteer AOPA members who watch for possible threats to their airport and build community support for the airport. More than 870 volunteers have now been appointed nationwide.
