Pilots who plan on flying in the vicinity of Cape Henlopen State Park, Delaware, on Saturday, May 12, or Sunday, May 13, are cautioned to pay very close attention to notams. A temporary flight restriction (TFR) will be issued via FDC notam to protect the planned launch for a meteorological rocket with an expected altitude of 50,000 feet. The non-rulemaking notice from the FAA outlines the time and location of the launch. For the latest information, pilots are advised to contact their local flight service station.
