AOPA responds to 'WSJ,' 'Scientific American'

AOPA continues to counter media editorials calling for user fees and privatization of the air traffic control system. AOPA responded immediately to a July 17 Wall Street Journal editorial, explaining once again that the only solution to airline delays is more runway capacity. "It's time to tell the public the truth," AOPA President Phil Boyer wrote in a letter to the editor. "Privatizing air traffic control won't increase runway capacity." AOPA also answered another privatization editorial in Scientific American.
