New e-mail service for reporters and editors delivers general aviation news to your desktop

Like many other organizations, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association is increasingly relying on the power of the Internet, and less on traditional paper press releases, to communicate with its members, reporters, and others interested in general aviation.

More and more frequently, general aviation news items are posted on AOPA's official Web site, AOPA Online, but not sent out as a traditional release. Many of the items are worthy of your consideration as a news story.

In order to reduce your workload, AOPA is initiating a new service that will send newsworthy items directly to your e-mail inbox so that you do not constantly need to check AOPA Online for updates. If such a service appeals to you, do nothing. As a recipient of AOPA's electronic news releases, you will automatically receive the AOPA News Updates from AOPA Online.

If you do not wish to receive this service, simply reply to this message.
