Former Kentucky governor and current state Sen. Julian Carroll is sponsoring a resolution, requesting the FAA to examine flight paths to Frankfort's Capital City Airport and to restrict air traffic around the grounds of the state's Capitol. Carroll was interviewed recently by a Frankfort radio station about the resolution and said he believes that restricting the airspace is a homeland security issue because terrorists may consider acts outside major cities.
