Alaska pilot feedback needed on weather cam site
Through the FAA's Alaska Weather Camera Web site, Alaska pilots can actually look at the weather in different regions of the state before taking flight. The FAA is examining the design of the Web site and is seeking user input on proposed changes to be sure they are user friendly. AOPA encourages pilots to share their feedback about the Weather Camera Web site. Sessions are scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the University of Alaska Aviation Complex, 2811 Merrill Field Drive in Anchorage, on Wednesday, August 9. For details, download this notice. AOPA has requested that additional meetings be offered at other locations in the future.
