AOPA President Phil Boyer participated in a panel discussion on user fees at Oshkosh July 25. He pointed out what a fee structure would mean for the average piston-engine pilot and how AOPA has worked tirelessly in Washington, D.C., to prevent the fees.
Representatives from the other general aviation organizations, including EAA, GAMA, and NBAA, also participated.
The panel was moderated by Cessna CEO Jack Pelton and Cirrus CEO Alan Klapmeier.
