Biplane heaven
More than 130 Stearman biplanes attended the National Stearman Fly-In in September. Highlights of the event this year included a remembrance of aircraft designer Lloyd Stearman by his daughter, Marilyn Stearman Carr, and an incredible aerobatic performance by John Mohr in his 1943 Stearman PT-17. AOPA staff member and new Stearman pilot Nate Rohrbaugh was there to help celebrate history and capture the event with photos. See his slideshow on AOPA Online.
