Sweeps Cardinal gets all-new interior
The 1977 Cessna Cardinal we're refurbishing for this year's AOPA sweepstakes, like many 30-year-old airplanes, was ripe for an interior upgrade—notably because the many plastic pieces that form the interior had aged over the decades. The Cardinal has started the plastic replacement process at Vantage Plane Plastics in Alva, Okla., and this week's update takes you through the plastic-forming process.
