Mentor helps student prepare for career in aviation
During the past 40 years of part-time flight instructing, former airline pilot and AOPA Project Pilot mentor Dale Lenhert has enjoyed the privilege of inspiring quite a few young people. Like student pilot Allen Gilbert, who decided he wanted to learn to fly with an eye on the pilot profession. Gilbert is now working toward his instrument rating and studying to pass his instrument knowledge test.
