Caribbean supplement available online

By AOPA ePublishing staff

The FAA is offering the Caribbean Flight Supplement online because the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) print version expired on Dec. 20.

The NGA stopped publishing international chart information in October, but much of the Caribbean data will be available through the FAA, thanks to three years of work between AOPA and the government agencies.

The Caribbean instrument approach procedures (IAPs) also expired on Dec. 20, but the FAA has not been able to make them available. AOPA continues to work with the FAA to make the Caribbean IAPs available from the government, but pilots can currently purchase them through Jeppesen. See a list of international charts that the FAA is providing.

The FAA is seeking feedback on its Caribbean chart information. You can send your comments via e-mail.
