Aviation Day to enlighten Arizona lawmakersAviation Day to enlighten Arizona lawmakers

Come out and show your support for aviation in Arizona. The aviation industry on Wednesday, February 7, plans to show state legislators just how much aviation contributes to local and state economies. AOPA, which has more than 12,000 members in Arizona, will participate in the second Arizona Aviation Day on the lawn at the Capitol. Aircraft owners, airport managers, aviation manufacturers, and members of the Arizona Air National Guard will be present. At the event, legislators will be able to fly a flight simulator to get the feel for flying general aviation airplanes. In addition, aviation exhibits will be on display, and industry representatives will give presentations. The event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
