Navy accepting comments on SoCal Range Complex

Navy accepting comments on SoCal Range Complex

The Navy is preparing an environmental impact study to address the current and future impacts of aerial training in the Southern California Range Complex. While the Navy has told AOPA it does not expect the range or training to negatively impact general aviation and that most of the special-use airspace would be located offshore, it is important that AOPA members provide their perspective on the proposal. The Navy will be hosting three meetings during which members can provide verbal comments. See the times, dates, and locations of the meetings. Written comments should be sent by February 8 to: Attn: Ms. Diori Kreske, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, 2585 Callaghan Highway, San Diego, CA 92136.
