FAA safety meeting to help Olympia get airport funding
The Olympia Airport will be hosting an FAA Pilot Safety Meeting in conjunction with the Washington Department of Transportation's aviation safety grant program. By participating, pilots will help the airport become eligible for state funding for airport improvements. Olympia's air traffic control tower will participate, and AOPA's Airport Watch information will be available at the meeting. The meeting takes place at noon on Saturday, January 20, in the Comfort Inn's Tumwater Room in Tumwater, Washington.
