Wanted: More Women in Aviation
If you are going to attend the Women in Aviation, International Conference from February 15 to 17 in Orlando, Florida, bring someone with you who is interested in learning to fly. You can be the example and inspiration to help grow the number of women pilots. By the end of the weekend, she'll be hooked and ready to get in the air. While you are in Orlando, you and your guest absolutely cannot miss AOPA Pilot Technical Editor Julie Boatman at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, for her fun and informative session on what it takes to get started and what to expect along the way. Afterward, Boatman and other women pilots will stick around for an informal Q-and-A session. It's all part of AOPA's Project Pilot program to help grow the pilot population and make general aviation stronger.
